Create groups of 6 to 10 people and provide each team with a magic carpet a tarp measuring 5 feet x 5 feet. Have the group imagine they are on a magic carpet ride. Instruct the group to stand on the carpet tarp sheet. But then the group realizes that the magic carpet has no steering wheel and only goes one direction if they want to get back home they need to flip the carpet over to go the other way.

The entire group must be on the tarp completely. Describe the beautiful scenery rushing by. The magic carpet game is a fun and exciting group game where all members of the group climb on the magic carpet and try to flip it to the other side by any means and without touching the ground. In this team building activity the team are flying over the desert on their flying carpet and suddenly they spot a stand storm heading towards them in the opposite direction.

The challenge to turn the magic carpet over without touching the ground surrounding the magic carpet. To do so no one can leave the carpet. Magic carpet should be approximately 4 feet by 5 feet. Typical presentation storyline or metaphor your group is on a magic carpet ride high above the fields of the surrounding countryside.

The team stands on top of their tarp and is then asked to flip the tarp over without anyone touching the ground. Ask the group to stand on an 8 x8 ûïmagic carpet û tarp or blanket. Tell them that they have risen 100 feet in the air and are ready to go. Once everyone is settled tell the group they are going on a magic carpet ride and have just risen 100 feet into the air but unfortunately the directions to steer and land are on the other side of the carpet.

Tell the group they must flip the carpet over while standing on it. Comprehensive information on purpose of the game how to set it up and the safety measures necessary during the course of the team activity. The team will have to turn the carpet around to escape crashing and a slow and agonising death but there are some problems. Once everyone is settled advise the group that they are going on a magic carpet ride.
